6 Week Course - Introduction to Jewellery Making
In this comprehensive introduction to Jewellery Making course you will learn all of the skills and techniques to enable you to make a range of different jewellery pieces.
We will begin with an overview of the basics, along with an introduction to your tools and equipment. After that you will learn a variety of different techniques including how to make chains, pendants and tassels, basic wire wrapping, clasp closures, several bracelet making techniques, sliding knots and bead knotting. You will make at least two different items each session including one using semi precious gemstones.
This series of events act both as stand alone classes, or if you come to more that one it will enable you to build up a variety of skills to give you a thorough set of skills that will enable you to make a wonderful selection of items. Each class is £20 or book the whole series for £100 saving you £20.
The class is limited to twelve people to ensure that everyone has enough time and attention. It is suitable for anyone over the age of 10 but children under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult (that adult does not need to be a participant).
